Project: Research two designers and combine their work into a cohesive calendar page. On the back, write a short essay about the designers and their work.
Solution: I chose Sarah Boris and Marian Bantjes; two designers that, at first glance, don't seem to have much in common but actually do. They are both type aficionados and each has taken a long journey to open their own studios. They also both employ beautiful and vivid colors in their artwork. I picked Boris' "HUG" poster and Bantjes typeface "Restraint" to create a vibrant, welcoming, and colorful calendar page, which I believe describes both of their styles.
