Rebranding Linda's Salsa
I was tasked to rebrand an existing product I found at a department store. I chose a small local company called Linda's Salsa.

Background
Founded in June 2013, by Linda Putnam from Monmouth, Illinois. Linda’s Salsa is the result of a dream of hers after growing her own hydroponic tomatoes and the need to use her tomato seconds. Linda’s Salsa comes in Mild, Medium, Hot and Black Bean and Corn. It is produced in Monmouth, Illinois and she tries to use as much local product as possible. She is currently in several national food chains, as well as many stores throughout Illinois, Missouri and Iowa and continues to grow each day.
This brand caught my eye because it is an independently woman owned business, in the need of an established brand identity.

Objective
To modernize and update Linda’s branding with a clean and consistent identity system so they may be able to reach more customers that are motivated to support a local female-owned business, that sources local produce for ingredients.

Target Audience
Taco lovers, Mexican food lovers, craft/small batch condiments enthusiast. Primary consumers are located regionally nearby Monmouth, Illinois.

Key Messages
Salsa packaging doesn’t have to be boring! It can be eclectic and interesting.
Look & Feel
Independent, quirky, modern, fun, alive, energetic, vibrant.
